Bradley Stohry is an associate in the intellectual property group with Ice Miller. He specializes in trademark and copyright prosecution, litigation and licensing. He graduated from the Entrepreneurship program at Ball State in 2002 and the Indiana University School of Law in 2005. 

Bradley and his team at Ice Miller provided a trademark search for us and secured trademarks for the name URBaCS and the URBaCS logo.

I met Lori when I was the sales manager for Hansen & Horn, a home builder based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Lori’s company provided our homeowners with an insured warranty on their new home. I first met Jon while I was working at Dura Builders, which later was purchased by KB Homes. Jon was the head of construction for Dura and managed all aspects of construction of the 500+ homes built each year in the Indianapolis market. We were first turned on to The Flying Cupcake by the real-estate sales team from the Indy Star. They told us about how they provide cupcakes to Realtor offices as a business thank you. So, upon their recommendation, we figured we’d give them a try.

We found a great little embroidery shop in Greenwood, Indiana called Embroidery ‘n Things that provides custom embroidery work at a great value. We called around town and shopped online and chose them because Valerie was the most helpful on the phone.

They let us bring in our own shirts, which we found on sale at Kohl’s, and only charged us $7.50 per shirt to have them embroidered.

The quality is great and Dan and Valerie are nice people. We would recommend them for your embroidery needs.

We worked together on the Marketing and Strategic Planning team and put together a couple of cool projects including an online petition for Katie Douglas and Tamika Catchings to represent Team USA in Beijing. We also built an online voting application for the 2008 Pacemate auditions.

I first met Todd as a new home sales associate for Paul Shoopman at Dura Builders, before they were bought out by KB Homes. Todd’s company did all of the marketing signs, directional signage and the neighborhood entrances for Dura Builders and I was impressed by the high level of service they provided.

When I took my next position with Hills Communities as a sales manager, I worked with Todd in a much closer capacity. He and his team put together such an impressive marketing sign program for Hills Communities in the Indianapolis market that it was eventually adopted at the national level.

I am excited about introducing Jayson to Todd and taking a fresh look at Wagner Signs’ operations. In the last few months we’ve met with so many new people. It’s nice to reconnect with some old friends as well.

I had a chance to chat with Douglas after the first day of the conference and learned a great deal about what makes him tick. He is a technology guru with a background in old-fashioned media (newspapers). He helps people with blogging, search engine optimization, and other social media. He posts on the MarketingTechBlog.com, owns and runs NavyVets.com, and helped found Smaller Indiana, I Choose Indy!, and the Indianapolis Business Book Club.
